We have purchased 3 travel trailors from Cheyenne in the last 5 years. From our salesman Todd, to the manager , to the prep guys who walk you through every detail of the camper and the functions and dont miss a thing.  Every experience has been great! We live in Albuquerque NM and drive 1100 miles to get there. The prices cant be beat anywhere, along with service, no pressure sales its been an enjoyable experience everytime! Yesterday while stopping and seeing I 80 Largest Truck Stop in the World, my husband noticed a back tire on our fifth wheel camper had lost a cover over the bearing.  We went inside and when out, he checked it and the wheel was loose. He called Cheyenne Camping which was right across the interstate and the man said come over. They was waiting for us and 3 of them came out to look. One of the service men took the wheel off and said we had just lost the bearing buddy, fixed it in 15 mins and off we went at no cost. We have been on a cross-country trip and had trouble with our Schwintek slide in our Jayco. We looked up places to take it along I-80 and came across Cheyenne Camping Center. We called to see if someone could look at it if we stopped in and got a positive, friendly answer on the phone. When we pulled in, spaces to park were clearly marked. Inside, the store seemed immediately friendly & cozy, with a rustic feel. A few gentlemen from the service department went out to where we were parked (in the 91 degree heat) and spent a short amount of time looking at and listening to our slide. Seemed we needed some screws to be installed, so Nick Teachout (Service & Body Shop Mgr) did that quickly and easily. Inside the building in the air conditioning, our teenage boys got on the free WiFi and sat under the demonstration tent for the short time we were waiting. Meanwhile, I talked with a few other people, and they were so friendly that it was as if we had known them for years! Mia especially- she was so welcoming and friendly, making us feel at home as soon as we entered the store. Before we left, we bought a water hose- there are a lot of supplies there- and we walked through some of their travel trailers that they have on-site. If we lived closer, we would definitely frequent this business, but since we can’t, I highly recommend that you make a point to stop in with all your RV needs!

What makes a loyal customer? Cheyenne Camper Center needs to write the policy manual for outstanding customer service. After 3pm on July 3rd my husband and I were headed home from a camping trip in the southern states.    Pulling in to get gas my husband casually mentions we have smoke, as he pulls into the truck stop.  Grabs a bottle of water because the bearing went out and with the warm temps hovering around 100’ we had a small little fire. But never use the word fire, trust me. No worries, we have all the warranties, call the warranty company and because we said fire he flatly told us we had to call our insurance company, I may have cussed at him. My next call was to Cheyenne Camper Center, we hadn’t even had the camper a full 3 months yet. I talked to Ryan Armstrong (the hero in this story), we thought and he agreed, isn’t this why you buy all those warranties?! Well actually yes, and Ryan saw to it that we were taken care of, 100%. We had to leave our camper in South Dakota, shout out to Watertown Truck and Trailer for great communication and a fix! The salespeople get to treat you with kid gloves and hand you that bottle of champagne, and that is all fine and dandy. The follow up is what sets a customers full experience, getting customer service AFTER the sale is what makes Cheyenne Camper Center the winner of all of our camper buying. Ryan Armstrong you are a dynamic individual and a hell of a representative for your company. July 2026 The folks in service were waiting for me when I got there, got me in before my scheduled appointment, completed the work on time and charged me less than the estimate! I am so late getting this review done but we were on our way back from the West Coast IMSA events with our team merch trailer, when our tire blew out right before the exit to I-80 truck stop.  We were able to get off the highway and make it to their parking lot where their staff instantly sprang into action (even though it was about 5 min to close). We were travelling with our fifth wheel when one of the wheels decided it wanted to take a detour off into a field. Luckily we were only a mile and a half away from the next exit, and Cheyenne Camping Center was right there.  We were able to limp it to the service center. After explaining our situation to the service manager Nick Teachout, he went above and beyond to do everything he could to help us out.  Because it was early afternoon, we decided to get a hotel for the night and see if they could get it done the next day, which was a stretch. It was a holiday week and they were short staffed and backed up already.  I kind of assumed we would have to head home the next day and come back to pick it up whenever it got done. About an hour later, I got a call from Nick. He told me they got it in the shop and were able to source the parts needed. He told me two of his techs were willing to stay late and knock it out so we could get back on the road. That level of customer service is 100% unheard of any more. You wouldn't get anything near that level of service from any other dealer. I can't even explain to you how appreciative my family and I are. Especially because it was my youngest son's 9th birthday, and the last thing he wanted to do is be broke down on the side of the interstate. Nick and team, thank you so much.
